The EtonHouse curriculum follows the inquiry based learning while using a child-responsive, play-based, “inquire, think, learn” pedagogy. The EtonHouse curriculum positions children as active participants in their own learning. We value and support children’s curiosity and skills of observation as the basis of a curriculum which aims to build skills of exploration and discovery; investigation and research; collaboration and team membership abilities. Documentation of children’s learning is also a vital component of the curriculum. Through observation and documentation, children become key stakeholders in the learning process, and learning experiences are therefore planned on what children know, what they are interested in and how they want to extend their knowledge
